Run 392.

Hares were Bangseat and Cockpit, and we all met at steamy Sungai Batu Asah (and if you readers are amazed at the fact I even knew the local name for the place, I have to confess to getting Cockpit to write it down for me - I cannot tell a lie - I would be found out anyway).   The run was great fun, if the usual mountain goat country these two insist on giving us.  After climbing mini Everest the run down and back to the circle area was good for the runners, very scenic for the fast walkers, and I have no idea why the rest took so long.   Oedipussy insisted he was sweeping, but the general consensus was he was just bloody slow.

There were only 19 of us which was pretty low numbers, but we made up for numbers lack with great enthusiasm, especially with penalty waters.   The GM, the first of the rotating GM's, was Oedipussy, so we welcomed him with a generous slosh of cold water, then he officially gave up the toilet seat, so got another dousing.   There were no virgins, no new shoes, no naming to be done.

However Cunning Stunt arrived back, late and wounded.  She fell over a corrugated iron fence/gate, wounded her rear end and sprained her hand.   She was suitably chastised.  At this point I would like to point out that Battleaxe was the executioner, for the first time, and she indulged offenders with gusto, especially C.S. who was supposed to play golf with her the next day.  Shame.   But her backside was liberally doused with VERY icy water.

We all felt that Oedipussy had done a good job, unappreciated by all who were not there, so he is GM next hash so that you can all experience his expertise.   He was disciplined, of course.

It was generally agreed that we should have a small first aid kit with the hash stuff, considering where we run, so Cockpit is putting that together.

Finish and Horny have kindly offered to look after all the Hash Kit (and be the Hares for next run) from now on, so that will make getting it very easy from their loft premises.   The feeling amongst almost everyone was that we should now consider going back to Friday runs, as there has been quite a lot of dissatisfaction with Saturday, and there is now no difficulty in getting the bins, booze and brouhaha.   However, it was conceded that we should wait for a larger group for this to be decided.

We repaired to Ka Kee Lang Steamboat, for a really great meal.   Well done Hares.
