Hares:  HORNY and FINNISH

A  small group of dedicated Hashers, 17, met in the parking lot of the Book Village.  After the ubiquitous New Shoe routine for an uninformed Virgin, Hashers set off on a meandering run through the Book Village, Across  the stream and up the hill toward Gunang Rayah,  into the bush and over the rocks alongside the stream with good false trails, stopping to tease a scorpion, and finally down to the parking lot.  Only three Hashers ran the whole trail, because we emerged from the jungle and spotted the Beer Truck, so most Hashers made a bee line for the truck rather than cavort around in the jungle for another 20 minutes.

With everyone home safe and sound, the GM called the circle and the festivities began.  One virgin, some returners, bald men, slackers, slow drinkers and the GM got thoroughly drenched by a very ambitious Executioner, UPPER.  All were good and soaked with the GM finding every heinous crime in the book.

The naming of OLD BAILEY, whom you probably have guessed was a Lawyer in a previous life, provided some comic relief and further entertainment for an already rowdy and very wet circle of Hashers.

To put the finishing touches on the circle, the group voted to change the Hash Run day to  SATURDAY.   Starting on Saturday, 19 April 2008, runs will be on every other Saturday.  This was done to facilitate the hares since The Pier is now closed on Thursday and Friday.

The feast commenced shortly after at Mrs Chan’s restaurant down the road.  Had a really tasty feed, copious amounts of cold beer and enjoyable conversation.

Somebody had the bright idea for a Woodpecker run, so all the dumbshits wound up at the Woodpecker lounge for a night of cavorting around the dance floor.

A good time was had by all, I think.

Good run, Good food, Good fun   Well done Hares!
