Under heavy cloud cover 29 hashers meet in the knee high bush @ Taman Dahlia for a run that is now to be known as THE ATTACK OF THE BLOOD SUCKING LEECHES” alarm bells should have started ringing amongst the old hands but NO all were far to busy socializing and drinking to give the perils of the surrounding jungle and rubber plantations any thought.

The ALTERNATE GRAND MASTER DOUBLE DUTCH sent the pack on its way. The 1^st section was along a covered road way then into the rubber plantation over the little bridge, we were to run/walk/stumble over this bridge 3 times in the course of the run and then ON ON up the hill, the trail was well marked but the front runners got a bit confused between the white rubber dripping from the trees & flour markings, pack split up and reformed later @ said bridge.

Before Double Dutch could form the circle the first leech was discovered, and the local population must have thought we were a REALLY strange lot with the whole pack taking off runners, socks, etc and inspecting each other & removing leeches, once we were all leech free, Double Dutch proceed to mete out Hash justices to all. Major Tom was named, but what was the man thinking to mention his mother and masturbating in the same sentence, he got his just desserts being named OEDIPUSSY.  Some of us thought that he got off rather lightly    ,

The feast was held at Silver Sands and once again a very good meal was had by all. AYAM ended up conducting the run by herself as Iron man was unable to attend. Job well done!
